Ingredients:
- asparagus - 1 pound, cleaned and trimmed ( I like my spears a bit thicker for this recipe.)
- extra virgin olive oil - 4 tsp
- good quality balsamic vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- sea salt - 1/2 tsp
- freshly ground black pepper - 1/8 tsp
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 425°F.
- Place asparagus in a large rimmed baking sheet.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat.
- Roast for 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Remove from oven, drizzle with balsamic, and toss to coat.
- Transfer to a serving dish and serve immediately.
